Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of korufleet.com (the "Service"), operated by Koru Projects ("we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a report you agree to these Terms.

Koru Fleet produces performance analysis reports for sailing races. Each report is an original work of analysis (statistics, charts, maps and commentary) produced by our own analysis engine from GPS positions and timestamps of the boats that raced.

A report is not a copy of any third-party product, replay, database or service. See our Data Sources & Legal Notice for how source data is obtained and handled.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may add boats to your fleet without proving ownership (boat positions in public races are public sporting information), but reports you purchase are licensed to you personally (Section 5).

Prices are shown per event tier at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. A purchase covers the analysis of one event for one boat, including the races included in that event and the regeneration of reports.

Delivered reports are not refundable. If we are unable to deliver a purchased report because the underlying tracking data is unavailable, incomplete or of insufficient quality (Section 4), we will refund that purchase in full. That refund is your sole and exclusive remedy in such cases.

Our event catalog is compiled from tracking data that third-party platforms make publicly available. We do not control those platforms. Coverage of any event, race or platform depends on the continued public availability of its data, and:

• we may add, suspend or permanently withdraw coverage of any event or platform at any time, without notice;
• the presence of an event in our catalog is not a promise that a report can be produced for it;
• if a source platform restricts, degrades or removes public access to its data, our only obligation is the refund described in Section 3 for purchases already made and not yet delivered.

We are not liable for any loss, expectation or plan that depends on the availability of any particular event, platform or data source.

Reports are our intellectual property. On purchase you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report for your own purposes, including sharing it within your crew, team or coaching staff. You may not resell reports or offer them as part of a competing commercial service.

You may not use the Service to attack, probe or overload our infrastructure or anyone else's; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

The Service and all reports are provided "as is". Analysis is derived from third-party GPS data whose accuracy we cannot guarantee; reports are performance-analysis aids, not navigational, safety or officiating tools, and are not evidence for protests or race-committee decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes are subject to the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
