Koru Fleet is built by Koru Projects S.L., a performance analysis and yacht optimization studio on the southeast coast of Spain.

We built Koru Fleet to do one thing: turn GPS tracking into an analysis of what actually happened in a race. Where you were compared to the fleet. Gains and losses leg by leg. Speed and VMC against the fleet through leg and line up analysis. How many manoeuvres you made, which side of the course paid, and by how much. It gives you a real debrief after racing, and it helps the team line up the small gains that end up deciding the next day on the water.

All of it comes straight from the available GPS tracks. There's nothing to log by hand while you're racing, and nothing you have to take on trust afterwards. Simple, and it works.

The engine came out of years of debrief work with top racing teams across different professional circuits, 52 Super Series, 44Cup, Maxi Yachts, C31 and ClubSwan racing among them. These are tight, high-level fleets where winning and losing usually comes down to very small margins, and that's exactly where lining up your onboard data against the rest of the fleet earns its keep. It's how you confirm what your instinct is telling you and start to read the tactical play of the course. The methodology behind Koru Fleet has been tested and refined over years of work with these teams, checked against real races and real results, not built in theory. We kept building the tools we wished we had for that work, and Koru Fleet is one of these tools, put together in an easy yet effective way so that any sailor can run the same analysis on their own races.
